Singing Together, Far Apart: Technology to Bring Us Together
September 26, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am UTC-6
REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CLOSED.
This is a workshop for those hoping we'd be singing together by now, but the reality of the virus is still present. You've seen what seems to be the magical presentations of singers making music together, each in their own homes. How does that happen? What programs are available to do that, how are they different, how hard are they to learn, what equipment is needed, and how much does it cost? That's a lot of questions, and I'm sure you'll come with more. I can't answer all of them, but I do have experience creating the magic for recorded worship services, and I'm happy to share what I've learned along the way. If you've already figured this out for yourself, you are welcome to participate and share your knowledge as well, but the assumption is that this is for those who are trying to decide how to begin, or who have tried and been frustrated.
